Gross Chastity Side Effects
There are plenty of common misconceptions, myths and urban legends surrounding male chastity. Some are complete works of fiction, while other are actually a really common and totally normal side effect. I decided it’s about time I opened up about some of the more common, weird and downright gross side effects that can come about from prolonged chastity or abstinence. These are all things I hear about on a daily basis but everyone always thinks is a ‘them’ problem.
"But its not all gross! The sticky negatives come with some positives too."
When you engage in long term orgasm denial prostatic fluid that would normally be flushed out with your semen builds up. This results in seepage in your urine and general leaking.
Sex researcher David Ley, author of Ethical Porn for Dicks: A Man’s Guide to Responsible Viewing Pleasure explains “Sperm has an expiration date, and if you haven’t ejaculated in a while, your body gets rid of the old stuff to ensure the sperm on tap is fresh and ready to hit the field of play.”
A Swollen Prostate.
Yup, that’s all your prosaic fluid building up. Of course an enlarged prostate gland is not uncommon in general, and this is just as likely to happen through age and hormones as it is chastity.
While we are on the subject of your prostate. In the UK, about 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer in their lifetime. Prostate cancer mainly affects men over 50, and your risk increases with age. The risk is even higher for black men and men with a family history of prostate cancer. If you think something’s not right it’s best to have an honest conversation with your GP.
Yes, boyhood is back. Known medically as a “nocturnal emissions” these sticky messes are really common in the long term locked. “For men, nocturnal emissions are a way for the body to clear out old sperm,” Ley explains.
But why? As you enter the rapid eye movement (REM) phase of sleep, your brain starts to shut off some neurotransmitters. One of these is called norepinephrine. During the day norepinephrine naturally restricts the blood vessels in your penis unless required. However, when you’re in this deep sleep, those blood vessels open up, leading to Nocturnal penile tumescence (NPT) AKA: an erection. Combine the build up of prostatic fluid, an x-rated dream and you’ve easily got yourself in a mess.
Its rarely referenced anywhere online so getting you hard evidence on this point feels impossible. But, through years of experience in releasing submissives from chastity I can guarantee you it is a very common occurrence to experience a one off change in ejaculate colour when you’re first permitted to enjoy yourself.
Whats is also common, but NOT ideal is blood in your semen. A small bit of blood can happen for many innocuous reasons, burst blood vessels, irritation to the urethra itself, damage or pinching from the cage. Be sure to keep watch for any long lasting blood and contact your GP if there is lots of blood, especially in your urine.
But its not all gross! The sticky negatives come with some positives too.
A Better Mood.
Based on a few smaller studies, abstaining from ejaculation may increase testosterone levels. Low testosterone can have a negative impact on your mood, energy levels, and sex drive. It can also lead to erection problems, loss of muscle mass, and higher body fat.
An increase in sexual arousal increases your oxytocin and dopamine levels.
This boost in oxytocin increases all the lovey-dovey feels so you feel positive, confident, and relaxed.
Dopamine also promotes feelings of positivity, while reducing anxiety and stress levels.
The BDSM community can seem alien when you first encounter it, but all it takes is a little patience and some basic research. This is not the Illuminati, or the Masons – there is no ritual, human sacrifice or handshake to get in – you just have to learn how to interact with people all over again.
There is no doubt about it, sexual desires are distracting. At the worst possible time, that little prick shaped bit of your brain pings and there you are, off in fantasy land with last month’s paperwork piling up beside you in the home office while you once again wander off to your favourite subscription site with your hand in your pants. Sufficiently jerked off, you wash your hands and wipe the sweat from your brow before logging in to that Zoom call.
No matter what stage of your relationship, dating, long-term or fully committed, sharing your innermost taboo secrets with someone will seem like the most nerve-wracking thing in the world. But what if I told you the conversation could open you up to experiences you previously thought weren’t possible? What if the conversation led to foreplay or better yet raw, red-hot kinky sex!
